Shop Class Foundation is tackling this challenge by equipping high school students with the skills and confidence to pursue careers in the trades. Inside our 25,000-square-foot facility, students take part in immersive, project-based learning where they follow professional building plans and construct a Tiny Home from the ground up.
Through hands-on experience and mentorship from industry professionals, students gain practical skills that can open the door to lifelong careers. By introducing young people to the opportunities and pride found in the trades, Shop Class Foundation is helping to strengthen the future of the construction workforce and inspire the builders of tomorrow.
